Supercell Comic

One of the tough things about this whole project has been the realization that I am extremely bad at marketing and promotion. I legitimately don't know the skills for it and any time I've tried researching it, all the resources are strangely vague about it in the same was as those drawing tutorials are about "Just draw the rest of the owl!" and... well, the end result is I'm accutely aware that the number of people reading the comic isn't as high as it feels like it would be if I had a better selling game for it.

One of the by-products of this is the visible absence of "fandom" activity outside of the comic's discord server. And boy am I glad I have that much! You have no idea how grateful I am that that space exists and people take it to heart 🧡. But out in the wild, there's not a lot of fanart or OCs or what have you floating around, and it's easy to wonder sometimes if my work is reaching and inspiring people.

So, today I'd like to shine a spotlight on Spotted Marten's Supercell Fandub, which just came out. Not only is it delightfully charming, it's also extremely validating for me! It's wild to me that people would go out of their way to do something like this. It genuinely feels like a big sign that I'm making progress, even if my ability to get more people to read and engage is sucks lol. Anyway, give it a watch! It's fun ^^
