It's only been a few days but it feels like the last update was months ago. Last week certainly happened. Hand in there, everyone. It's gonna be bumpy, but we're gonna make it 🧡

This scene, and this page in particular page was interesting to share on patreon a few weeks ago in so much as it's a visual cumulative of a ton of stuff that happened in book 2. Everything in it (at least that I did consciously) can be traced back to specific moments throughout. So much so that I was actually worried I was being too on the nose and obvious about a bunch of stuff. Turns out not so. Some people got it and some people people super didn't lol. A fresh reminder that communication, no matter how seemingly clear, is imperfect by way of people are just different. I try to cover my bases where possible, though. I think maximizing the chances that the ideas I want to get across successfully do is worth it.
