There's a part of me that feels like Fiida's taunt here may be explaining a bit too much of what's happening? I think people generally accept that fictional sedatives are extremely fast acting and real ones take upwards of fifteen minutes to actually start kicking in, but I really got a kick out of the idea of having something very specific at work here, even if it doesn't matter. I imagine a substance where, you know that thing that if you're experiencing some kind of pain somewhere, biting the meat between your thumb and index finger can help you cope because that has a more direct line to your brain and can somewhat override the pain elsewhere? (I don't know if that's actually true or if it's an urban myth), this would be like that. It latches on to your nervous system and shoots right up the brain and then back down your whole being, effectively disabling you while the actual sedative knocks you out over time. Again, this is completely unnecessary information. I just think it's neat XD
